Well I am currently on mid-semester break, and delaying starting projects as much as possible. Last week we had a week long field trip to Kiola, which is on the NSW south coast. It is so beautiful there, all stunning beaches and rain forest. My awesome lecturer worked it out so that Remy and Paul could come along for the week, so they had a fully catered for holiday down the coast for $200 all up. Pretty amazing really. And as $140 of that was my fee for the field trip, I couldn't be more grateful.

First of all, the food was AMAZING!! Oh lord I wish I ate like that every night.

I was studying ideal-free distribution in silver gulls. So from about 8.30 to 5.30 we were running experiments with gulls on the beaches around the area. My group had 6 girls and one guy. When we did the experiment, 3 girls sat either side of a barrier 15 metres apart, and the guy stood in the middle shouting throw ever 4 seconds. At one site a woman came up and asked it we were in a weird cult. Now, here is a question for you, if you're in a weird cult, do you think you'd like it being called weird, and a cult?

Remy and Paul had a great time. They went swimming a lot, because even though we are at the tail end of Autumn, the weather was actually pretty good. They went to a wildlife park, and Remy patted a snake and a wombat. And they went to a honey farm where the children of the farms owner fell in love with Remy and were showing him around the whole farm.

Remy also made a LOT of friends with people in the class. Quite adorable really.

On a different topic. I recently by chance, came across the woman who one of my exes went out with after me, who was so convinced we were having an affair she said she was going to come around and punch me in the face. She was a very bad person from a very bad period in my life, and now, having come across her on facebook, I can't decide if I want to start shit up with her, or just let literal sleeping dogs lie. haWhaW she's a dog. I thought I'd grown out of infantile crap like that, but the temptation is soooo strong.
