Lily Josephine



Born at 5.45am on the 23rd of September.  She was 4.8kgs (10lb10oz) and 54cms long.

She's seriously a breezie girl.  And we even took her to ponyfest on the Sunday after she was born.



PonyFest was awesome too.  I had a great time meeting collectors and buying loads of ponies!

Goodness me I need to update this thing more.  I am also getting really behind in art commenting, so I appologize for that too.  Next week we are having satellite internet installed so hopefully I'll catch up a bit then.

Remy is now 3 years old.  He had a lovely birthday party at an indoor play centre he loves called kid city.  He always has a great time there.



He has also started preschool now, and he LOVES it.  Unlike most kids who cry when there parents leave, Remy cries when we pick him up.  We're really happy with his school, which currently goes from pre-school to year 8 as it sounds very fun, and has a lot of the same principles as we have about education and stuff. Here he is about to leave for his first day.



Uni is back again.  I'm only taking 2 classes as usual, one about race and genetics which sounds very interesting and the other is a science communication course where we have to run a seminar about science communications.  I'm in the marketing team... wooo!

I guess the really big news is I'm pregnant again.  This time I'm seriously terrified.  I don't really go a day without breaking into tears about it.  I'm always sure I've miscarried again.

I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year.  I know I'm a bit late with the greetings, I only just got the internet on at home the other day.  On stinking dial up again.  We thought we might be able to get broadband, but the phone company has split our line, and there is a wireless provider nearby that charges $1000 for set up so we don't qualify for broadband choice (free instillation of satellite broadband).

Anyways, I had a great Christmas.  I was thoroughly spoiled by my family.  Along with the massive collection of My Little Ponies I was given, my dad gave me a canvas print of a photo of Remy he took at Remy's 1st birthday.  Remy absolutely loved Christmas this year.  He was unbelievably spoiled.  We got him a camera because he's always pinching mine.  He really loves it.  He probably takes 10 photos a day.  We also got him a blackboard/whiteboard/easel.  He loves using that too.  But still hasn't learned that you can't leave the caps off whiteboard markers.  Along with that he got the usual MASSIVE pile of toys.

We had lunch at my sister's house. She has a pool so that was great.  Then dinner was spent at my brother-in-law's place.  I was pretty stuffed with food by the end of it.

Also this year we had two christmas trees which I am yet to pull down.

New Years I was ill, so that wasn't that great.

Remy's 3rd birthday is next week.  We're planning to buy a trampoline for him with my parents.  I think he'll love it.  He's also having his standard party at Kid City an indoor play center that he LOVES.

I'm really sorry I am so behind on commenting.  Not that anyone seems to be paying much attention to me lately either (apart from you Jhames!).  The lack of internet has meant when I log on I have an inbox with 50 pictures/journals and only the time to comment on one or two.  I thought that having the internet back on would help, but it cuts out so often, and takes so long to load that nothings changed.  I am slowing getting through things though.

I turned 30 yesterday.  How scary.  

I did have a lovely day.  Very pony filled.  The BIG day is actually this saturday.  I am having a party at my place, and have hired a jumping castle.  I have set my wii up on a data projector, so games will be massive.  Plus I am borrowing my niece's sing star for Karaoke.

Now, is it just me, or does anyone else think there is something fundamentally wrong with teaching scripture as a subject at public schools (as happens in NSW, Australia).  I mean, surely one reason you may pick sending your kid to a public school over private would be because you aren't christian?

Also, I have finished uni for the year now.  Hopefully I have done ok in the one subject I took.

oh yeah.  Paul also took me to see Drallion (Cirque du Soliel) for my birthday.  It was a complete surprise, and I loved it.  I saw Drallion on tv like 5 years ago, and have wanted to see it ever since.  I am so glad I did.
